How StrawMan Works — Informal Public-Opinion Polling

1. Create an Account

Sign in with your Google account using the button at the top of any page. No password to remember, no personal information required beyond what Google provides. Your identity is never linked to individual poll responses in public reports.

2. Participate in Informal Polls

Visit the Ballot page to view available polls. Each poll presents a topic or candidate question with informal response options. Cast your response — it's anonymous in public reports and does not constitute an official vote.

Important: StrawMan polls are not official elections. They are informal gauges of public sentiment. Results reflect community participation, not legally binding outcomes.

3. View Aggregate Results

The Reports page displays aggregate polling results — combined totals and trends across all participants. Individual responses are never publicly linked to specific user identities. All results are clearly marked as informal public-opinion data.

4. Earn StrawPoints

Earn StrawPoints by engaging with the platform — for example, by watching eligible sponsored media. Your points balance is displayed on the Rewardspage. StrawPoints are participation rewards, not a currency with cash value.

5. Redeem Gift Certificates

Depending on availability, StrawPoints may be redeemable for gift certificates through third-party reward providers. Redemption is separate from polling — it does not influence poll results or your standing on the platform.

🔗 Blockchain Prediction Markets

StrawMan offers optional blockchain-based prediction markets that operate as separate smart-contract environments. These settle according to smart-contract rules and authorized official-outcome resolution — not informal StrawMan poll results. Participation is entirely optional and distinct from the polling features.
